New goals for 2030 & 2050
In the Impact Report 2023 we reveal our ultimate sustainability goal: net zero emissions by 2050. We also defined new near-term targets for 2030, specifically for scope 1, 2 & 3. These new targets align with the Paris Agreement’s objective to limit global warming to 1.5-2°C compared to pre-industrial levels.
In addition, the 2030 scope 1 & 2 targets set by us have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The SBTi is a global body that enables companies to set ambitious emissions reductions targets in line with the latest climate science.
The report provides further transparency into the great lengths CTOUCH goes through to achieve its goals. Highlights of the reports include:
- Various new partnerships to reach our goals
- Employee CO2 footprint being reduced by 62%
- Newly developed energy-efficient products with an extended lifespan, helping our customers reduce their impact and lower operational costs.
- Product CO2 footprint being reduced by up to 37%
- Implementation of ‘CTOUCH Next Life’ programme, taking back and refurbishing CTOUCH touchscreens to reintroduce them to the market
