Why did you choose to work at CTOUCH?

I already knew CTOUCH because we were neighbours when I worked for another company. When I spotted a job opening at this rapidly growing organisation, I immediately grabbed my chance and applied. There were fewer and fewer opportunities for me at my old employer, so I was pleased to be able to start working on the challenges that lay ahead at CTOUCH. And there is still plenty to pick up within our internationally oriented organisation. So it was a good decision back then! 😊

What does your average day look like?

There is no such thing as an average day, but I am mainly occupied with keeping and checking the accounts of our various entities. This means, among other things, filing VAT returns in various countries, checking the balances of balance sheet items and ensuring that employees and creditors are paid on time. Since I also have an IT background, I am also involved in setting up and maintaining the financial applications we use in the company.

What has been your finest moment at CTOUCH so far?

That, of course, is the winning of quiz prizes and that is not limited to one greatest moment anyway 😉

Who do you work with the most? How's the team spirit?

Logically, I work mostly with the financial manager and director of CTOUCH, but of course there is also a lot of contact and dialogue with the HR colleagues. Together we are a pleasant department with many funny and informal moments. The CTOUCH core value 'We are personal' is therefore certainly applicable within our little club: not always too serious and we make something beautiful out of it every day!

What do you like most outside your work at CTOUCH?

Besides my work, I am an active sportsman (I play hockey, love running and do crossfit).Besides sports, collect and listen to electronic dance music and that provides the relaxation I need.

Below are CTOUCH's core values, which one appeals to you the most and explain how you apply it in your job.

The core value 'We work smarter' appeals to me the most. By automating and digitising work (processes), many things can be done in a more efficient and safe way. Especially during my first period at CTOUCH, we were able to make great strides in this area, and I still keep looking for possibilities to do things smarter.

What tips do you have for someone who wants to do this kind of work?

To a less experienced employee I would say: don't be afraid to take on new challenges. Take the chances you get and if there are things you can't handle, we will solve them as a team!

We
work
smarter.

We actively look for better ways to work together and deliver brilliant results.

We
are
proud.

Every day we go to work with drive, enthusiasm and optimism.

We
are
personal.

The people we do business with matter. We go the extra mile to delight and make a difference.

We
own it.

We do what we can to do things properly and succeed. We help each other and those who matter to us.
