Following global standards
To ensure that our efforts are both measurable and impactful, we adhere to global standards for measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions. The Greenhouse Gas Protocol, a widely recognised standard, provides guidelines for categorising emissions into three scopes:
- Scope 1: Direct emissions from sources owned or controlled by an organisation, such as company facilities and vehicles.
- Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, heat, or steam consumed by an organisation.
- Scope 3: Indirect emissions that occur in the value chain of an organisation, including both upstream and downstream activities such as transportation, waste generation, and employee commuting.
Our sustainability goals
Our ultimate sustainability goal is to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. To achieve this, we've set near-term targets to drive meaningful reductions in our carbon footprint:
- We are committed to reducing our CO2 footprint by 46% in scope 1 and 2 by 2030.
- We're also targeting a 27% reduction in CO2 emissions in Scope 3 by 2030, addressing emissions across our entire value chain.

SBTi validated targets
Our sustainability goals are officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The SBTi enables companies like ours to set ambitious emission reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. This ensures that our actions contribute meaningfully to global efforts to combat climate change.
