CTOUCH: growth in revenue and range
Eindhoven based Dutch company CTOUCH witnessed an increase of 25% to EURO 7,2 M within the first four months of 2017. Moreover, the ranges of the key player within the market of large screen touch screens for – among others – the educational and corporate markets, improved significantly.
CTOUCH aims to achieve record revenue of EURO 30 M (2016: EURO 20,5 M).
Due to a successful injection of capital through the bond issue via NPEX, the SME stock exchange of the Netherlands, the manufacturer of full-scale touch screens can substantially invest in a program of growth that leads to product innovation, further consolidation within the corporate market, and growth in a number of European countries, such as the Netherlands, the UK, Germany and Scandinavia.
In the coming months CTOUCH introduces new large format screens for the corporate market: the CTOUCH Leddura 2meet and 2share. For these new additions CTOUCH worked closely together with renowned manufacturers Barco and Harman Kardon. The CTOUCH Leddura is inter alia equipped with Microsoft Skype for Business, offers secured wireless possibilities for working together and reacts to spoken commands for queries in Google and Microsoft. The share of CTOUCH within the corporate market, next to the educational market, will further increase.
In order to achieve these targets for growth, the number of staff members at CTOUCH has increased with a quarter to 40 employees. Furthermore, portfolios within management have been rearranged. Francois Barlinckhoff focuses on Sales and Internationalization, Bernard Gosselink concentrates on Finances and IT policy, and Remmelt van der Woude has final responsibility within the management team. Also, an Advisory Board has been formed in order to advise CTOUCH management on the policies to be conducted.
“The extra capital allows us to innovate our top-of-the-range products, strengthen ourselves internationally, and develop our relationships with some renowned manufacturers. Thus enabling the company to stay ahead in the competition with the collaboration solution by Microsoft and Cisco, and to grow significantly,” says CEO Remmelt van der Woude.
