Especially our elderly are hit hard by the Coronavirus, not only are they more vulnerable, they are afraid and often feel lonely.
It was therefore not so difficult to find a destination for the hundreds of Dutch sirup waffles that we no longer needed because all events have been postponed.
Along with other treats and gifts from local sponsors, the bags were filled and handed out to the elderly by the Disco happiness DJs in silly outfits. Equipped with a mobile Dj booth, they visited the residents and played requested tracks. That caused the necessary hilarity, they danced and they sang along full of enthusiasm.
