CTOUCH UK Ltd increases UK stock holding and adopts a hybrid distribution model to meet demand
CTOUCH UK Ltd have recently opened-up increased stock holding ability in the UK to enable it to meet market demands from both end-users and resellers alike. A new warehouse facility and logistics contract has been secured and implemented with renowned specialist transportation company, Relay Technical Transport Ltd, to offer nationwide coverage, with specialist white glove delivery service.
CTOUCH Europe, through planning and long-term manufacturing relationships, were able to avoid any major stock shortages for touchscreens in the UK, seen by much of the AV industry, and have seen an increase in demand as a result.
Gregg Ringer, Head of Market Development in the UK commented: “Over the past 12 months we have seen increased demand for our touchscreens. By expanding our distribution ability, we have ensured that we are able to meet this demand.” He went on to comment on CTOUCH’ ability to trade directly with a number of resellers in recent months due to distribution issues. “To avoid delay and overcome recent distribution challenges, we have been able to trade directly with our resellers, whilst working closely with our UK distribution partner Exertis Ltd. This hybrid model increases our breadth in the UK and gives resellers more ways in which to procure our products.”
With a number of exciting products and initiatives being launched by CTOUCH over 2022, the move demonstrates a commitment to the UK market by the touchscreen specialist. CCO Francois Barlinckhoff commented: “The UK is an extremely important market for CTOUCH where we have thousands of existing customers and partners, and we want this to continue. We have doubled the size of the UK team, and by increasing our distribution capability, we are now confident our new initiatives can be realized in 2022. This is exciting times for CTOUCH as an organisation”.
One of CTOUCH’ recent pledges has been around sustainability. The company is on a mission to be the most sustainable touchscreen manufacturer in Europe, going the extra eco mile by lowering its CO2 footprint by 60% and increasing circularity by 25% in 2025.
