A chat with: Michiel Verhulst

Why did you choose to work at CTOUCH?

After having worked for the company Kusters for 11 years, I was looking for a new challenge with possibilities to grow. I found this at CTOUCH.

What does your average day look like?

First thing in the morning, we start with a cup of coffee and discuss our plans for the day. Then we start collecting the orders, which are picked up in the afternoon by our regular transporters so that they are delivered to the customer on time. It is never boring in logistics. Every day is different and offers new challenges

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The best thing about my job is that every day is different and that together we ensure that the customer is happy as soon as the lorry's tailgate opens.

What kind of music do you really enjoy?

To which music I don't go wild is a better question for me. I often alternate between music like 90's House, 70's/80's rock and sometimes Dutch. So really every kind of music can be found in my repertoire.

How do you drink your coffee? And... what is your favourite football team?

I started drinking coffee (milk and sugar) when I was at CTOUCH ( I don't know if this is a positive thing 😊). As an Eindhoven native, there is of course only one club and that is PSV. We don't talk about other clubs.

What tips do you have for someone who wants to do this kind of work?

In logistics, it is important that you work as a team to keep it all running smoothly. Listen to each other, use tips & tricks and help your colleagues. It's fun, gives energy and you actually get a lot done.
