Product Specialist

With excellent knowledge of IT networks.

You will work in the customer care department of CTOUCH with 11 service colleagues. Our Field Service Engineers regularly travel with the CTOUCH buses, together with other service colleagues such as Mandy, Dennis and Hans, they make schools and companies happy with well-functioning touchscreens.

CTOUCH is an innovative scale-up that develops large format touch displays for the educational and corporate market. We help educational institutions make their lessons more engaging and interactive, while corporates use our touch screens to meet more effectively.

We continually invest in new technologies and therefore offer future-oriented solutions to our customers. This is done through a network of distributors and resellers. We cannot do this without our future Product Specialist who, with excellent knowledge of networks, ensures that we have the most satisfied customers.

What do you do as a Product Specialist at CTOUCH?

  • Analyses complex IT / network issues and supports service colleagues in creating solutions.
  • Provides 3rd line support, mainly to dealers and installers.
  • Is able to configure and implement solutions.
  • Filters the correct information from large amount of information and processes it in technical documentation or passes it on to other departments.
  • Carries out configuration changes, initiates and implements changes and installs updates and patches.
  • Works at the customer's location in the event of a malfunction or for implementing an implementation.
  • Constantly thinks along to further optimize our support processes.
  • Is jointly responsible for all technical documentation for dealers, end users and service repair shops at home and abroad. For example: frequently asked questions, application notes and user instructions.
  • Provides technical training of networks and applications for CTOUCH touchscreens to colleagues and to customers in the field.
  • Summary; the point is that you understand all that IT / network hassle and explain this to us and the customers, so patience is also necessary. 😊


Are we connected? These specs are going to help you!

  • MBO + / HBO diploma, preferably in an IT direction.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a support, after-sales and network management role.
  • Thorough knowledge of TCP / IP networks, Windows OS, Linux and macOS X.
  • Familiar with Windows Powershell and Linux CLI commands.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 environment.
  • Some experience with RS-232 connections.
  • Good communication skills, can easily explain complex processes and understands underlying questions.
  • Experience with writing technical documentation.
  • A practical attitude but also focused on long-term solutions.
  • Flexible, energetic, involved and enthusiastic (more is of course also possible ;-)).
  • Willingness to visit our customers.

  • Working daily with Dennis, Thijs and Caner, among others. But you will never get bored with the other service colleagues either!
  • Your work is never the same for a day. A dynamic position: new products, new developments, you are always up-to-date.
  • Every day a delicious and cosy lunch at the office around our large lunch table (after Corona-times off course).
